Does a professional manual and parts list exist for repairing old Hoover upright vacuum cleaners?
Yes, yes, yes. I know I can buy one, high (new technology and plastic outer piece made from garbage) vacuum. However, my father worked for Hoover for 40 years and THIS built a more than 15 years. I've been able to maintain and repair it so far, but it must have been problems with the suction. I think the composite of fan blades are worn. L & L: The Hoover are new foriegn made garbage, like everything else. Hoovers Hoover has even more. The name was sold to a holding company. I was in New York last week, and both the original plant and the plant built in the 70 's are sitting idle.
