Gas Engine
Is there some type of conversion kit to change a gasoline engine into a natural gas engine? where to find it?
I have a fuel injected engine in my Toyoto and I want to burn natural gas it instead of gasoline. I know that there used to be a type of conversion kit for carburetors, but since fuel injection, I don’t know. and how much work would be required to make such a conversion.
There are conversions but they are really drastic. You have to have a different fuel storage tank and many other components that sometimes don’t work well with original equipment. They can be a bit costly but a natural gas powered engine runs cleanly and efficiently for a long time and does far less harm to the ozone layer then a conventional power source. Good luck.
