How to Repair or service of a diesel heater?
I purchased an old diesel heater has a stainless steel chimney and a steel cylinder inside, which is supposed to be hot – but the smoke out of the fireplace and hot air comes out clean the front. After starting, fire, thick black smoke feathers of the chimney then cut out and reset button lights up. If I keep starting – the time it will last for a bit then disconnects. Any ideas on how to fix?
It seems you could probably do with a good service more than anything. Most of it is peeling or cleaning, there are some parts that could be worth sharing. I could be more helpful if you could tell me what brand and model? I clean all filters first and then give it a try and see if it's better if I were you.
